For centuries in Chinese culture, jade has symbolized protection, harmony, wisdom and good fortune. Many believed wearing jade could ward off negativity, bring balance and reflect inner virtue and strength.

Ping An Kou (平安扣) is a Chinese jade amulet that symbolizes peace, safety, and harmony. Its circular shape represents wholeness and balance, the center hole reflects openness and the flow of energy, and jade itself stands for purity, health, and protection.

Because of these meanings, parents especially like giving it to children as a blessing for safe growth, good health, and lifelong protection. It is often worn on a red string, which adds extra symbolism of luck and warding off negative energy, and its smooth, simple design makes it safe and comfortable for kids to wear every day.

This pendant is made of Manasi Biyu. Manasi Jade (玛纳斯碧玉) comes from Manasi County in Xinjiang and is best known for its rich spinach-green colour. This variety of jade is admired for its deep earthy tones, durability, and natural character, often featuring subtle dark mineral inclusions that reflect its authenticity. Traditionally associated with prosperity, strength, longevity, and stability, Manasi jade has long been valued for both ornamental carvings and personal jewellery.

Spinach Green Jade (菠菜绿碧玉)

  • Symbolises abundance, longevity, strength, stability, and enduring prosperity

  • Deep rich green tones are traditionally admired for their grounding and mature energy

Our jade pieces are crafted using carefully selected 老坑料 (old-mine material), valued for its superior density, stability, and long-term durability.

Compared to newer material, old-mine jade is known for its exceptional 细腻度 (fine and refined texture) and rich 油性 (natural lustrous sheen), giving the jade a smooth, silky touch and elegant glow.

Due to the dense and stable nature of old-mine Hetian jade, the material does not easily deteriorate, dry out, or lose its beauty over time. With proper care, genuine Hetian jade is suitable for lifetime wear and can even be passed down through generations.

All our jade pieces are individually hand-carved rather than machine-moulded. As such, slight variations, asymmetry, or minor irregularities in shape and finishing may be present. These are not considered defects, but part of the craftsmanship and uniqueness of authentic hand-carved jade.

Natural jade may also contain inclusions, veins, cotton, or mineral patterns formed naturally over time. These characteristics are part of the jade’s authenticity and natural beauty.

As every piece is made from natural jade, each item is unique in tone, texture, and pattern.

We are a Singapore-based business committed to providing authentic natural jade with transparency and accountability.

For customers who prefer additional assurance, meet-ups and viewing arrangements can be discussed where feasible. Our customer service team is also readily available to assist with any questions, clarification requests, or after-sales support whenever needed.

Certificate of Authenticity from the craftsmanship source will be provided. Local NGI certification and assessment can also be arranged upon request at prevailing NGI assessment rates, together with a nominal administrative fee for arrangement and processing.
